Dauntless Courage
A defining moment in history as Lt. (jg) “Dusty” Kleiss successfully bombed the Imperial Japanese carrier Kaga during the Battle of Midway.  Of the 16 Scouting Six SBD Dauntless aircraft that attacked, only nine returned to the U.S.S. Enterprise.  Kleiss’ aircraft returned with barely enough fuel to complete his landing.

Deadly Duo
Flight Officer Frank Klibbe, accompanied by Lieutenant “Shorty” Rankin climb out over Dover, England in this stirring print.  Both pilots were P-47 Thunderbolt aces with the famed 56^th Fighter Group.
