1968 Bobby Unser & Joe Leonard
On May 30, 1968, Bobby Unser scored the Unser family's first Indianapolis 500 triumph at the wheel of the Rislone/Leader Card Eagle-Offy.  Joe Leonard captured the pole position in Andy Granatelli's STP Lotus Turbine with a four-lap record of 171.559 mph.  Unser led the most laps on the way to a new race record of 152.882 mph.  Leonard's turbine car retired while leading with nine laps remaining and finished 12th in the final standings.
